“We have so much time and so little to do. Strike that, reverse it.”
Who doesn’t love Roald Dahl, and who doesn’t love a really good quote – whether it is from a movie, a book, from the mouth of a famous (or infamous) person … or just something awesome you remember your Dad saying when you were a kid.
The posts on my blog pages are my reflections and thoughts on the quote I choose for each day. My goal is to write something every day – I can only hope it is good and worth reading. If it is – please share my work with others.
How many times have you set yourself a goal (i.e. a New Year’s Resolution)?
How many times have you achieved that goal?
In the last 40+ years, I have set many goals … and, happily, achieved some.
This goal is going to be on my achieved list.
I want to work in the writing field … I want to write … to edit … to proofread. I want to be able to work from home, under my own conditions. I want to manage my work-life balance.
One thing I am going to do to help achieve my goal is add to this blog EVERY DAY. A good writer becomes a great writer by writing. (Someone said that, though I can’t quite remember who at this point in time.)
So, my goal is to pick a quote each day, and write about how that quote impacts on me personally. The key word here is ‘me’. This will be my interpretation of the quote. Maybe how it makes me feel or what it reminds me of. I might like the quote, or I might not. I don’t know yet.
I also have another blog, which I have resolved to add one post per week to. This blog is important to me as it is about my journey with my son – admittedly, I have been rather slack with this blog, but no more: https://inmyaspergersworld.wordpress.com
My name is Kellie – and I am going to achieve this goal!
This is a contact page with some basic contact information and a contact form.
I would absolutely LOVE your feedback on my posts and/or ideas for new posts (i.e. quotes that you love).
